".. sam was socializing after his lunch. he came to our table to talk to us. weijin and i were sitting on the same side while syl was opposite of us. then sam came over and stood in front of us (beside syl) to talk. seeing that he was so poor thing having to stand while we were all sitting, i suggested that he take a seat. then i thought of syl and in the end i said, "you want to sit down? if you seat there (points to the empty seat beside syl) the person beside you would be veryvery happy!" sam looked at syl and said, "really meh?" then he really sat down beside syl. and tried to inch nearer to syl by shifting a little.
